This is part two in our reclamation questions series, in which we’re answering your questions about how land is repaired and reclaimed after pipeline construction. In our first post we discussed First Nations consultation. This week we’re answering a question about trees on pipeline right-of-ways (ROWs).

Do you allow trees to grow over the top of the pipe?

Even though pipeline companies return the land to a condition as close to its natural state as possible, pipeline ROWs are usually free from trees. How else can you recognize a pipeline ROW? Find out by completing this fun quiz: ‘Can you spot the right-of-way?’.
