How petroleum products make the first (and every) day of school possible

Wow, another summer is in the books. And just like that, the kids are all waking up early and shuffling out the door on their first day of school. Did you know that petroleum products make the daily routine, well, routine? Thanks to petroleum products, we get up on time, make breakfast (and coffee!), take the bus, use computers and play sports like basketball and football. Everything from plastic in alarm clocks and coffee makers, to synthetic fibers and dyes in clothing and toothpaste contain petroleum products.
