Natural gas presents a wealth of opportunity for Alberta’s – and Canada’s – economic recovery today and looking ahead.
Natural gas has been central to the Alberta and Canadian economies for more than six decades. It’s critical to our everyday lives and will be even more important for our future. That’s why Alberta wants to make sure Canadians get the best value from developing our natural gas resources.
The Alberta government recently shared its vision and strategy for how natural gas can grow the economy, attract investment, and create jobs – not just in Alberta, but across the country.
To talk more about this, CEPA’s President and CEO, Chris Bloomer, talked to Dale Nally, Associate Minister of Natural Gas and Electricity with the Government of Alberta. Minister Nally was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta on April 16, 2019, as the MLA for Morinville-St. Albert. With decades of private sector experience and deep involvement in community initiatives, Minister Nally is working to advance long-term stability and growth in Alberta’s natural gas and electricity sectors.
